Jolene

Friday night = 7 Peaks water park & Malt Shoppe.  I love doing handstands underwater.  I don't like holding my breath.  Oh I like slides too.  And eight packs.  And high school dance parties.  And strawberries.  And freezing to death.  But mostly I just like all this fun I've been having.
NOW.  iPod Star.  Only the best game ever to hit that stupid mans brain that came to thunk up it's ridiculousness.  I was horrid.  Pity me...  So we were cold from the water park, naturally.  Showered.  Met back at the hot rock.  What is the hot rock you ask?  Only a gift from the gods outside our very dorm.  An unexplainable slab of concrete hotter than hell.  Almost.  But I digress, iPod Star: up walks Brent with headphones,  iPhones came out, and then the embarrassment.  One lucky crooner gets to blast the music so loud he or she does not hear themselves.  Then proceeds to sing to their hearts content.  Hilarity ensues.  Observe the effects/affects {I don't care to figure out which}:
Saturday = Bowling & Fast Five.  Sunday = Pioneer dresses for Pioneer Day.  Ohhh Utah...

Obsessed

Best Movie Royalty.
Minus Sandy's bangs.  Don't entirely hate them, just don't love them.  However, your dress is heaven.  Angie?!  I swoon.  That is all that needs to be said.  SWOON.
Best Usually I wouldn't like this, but you guys make it look dang good!
Material of Meggie's dress = amazing.  So sultry.  Annie, girl, I love the boatneck and sleeves.   Not to mention the lighter hair.  Just look at you!  Keep it uppp.
Best Mod.
Meeechelle.  I so wish Blue Valentine wasn't so sexual, because I, along with the rest of the world, are rightly in love with you.  In love.  Stay strong girl.  I dig your lips.  ScarJo?  This fits you fantastically.  Way to make Ryan weep in regret!  Love the neutrals ladies.
Best Pretty in Pink.
NATTTIE!  WAY TO REPRESENT!!!  Congrats a thousand times over on your win, as well as your darling rose and baby to be.  Not to mention your jewelry and makeup are perfection.  Lea darling.  You are just a vision.  Can you teach me how to style my hair?  Structure of this dress is rad.  Just sayin'.
Best DANGGG GURLLL!
Livi dear, you are a princess.  You totally pulled it off.  Way to be different.  Leighton!  My love still remains.  You are gorgeoussss.  Dress is amazing.  Uh-maze-ing!  See that slit?  Totally balances the killer long sleeves.  Teach me?
Best One Shoulder.
Chrissy!  Only you could grow a rose on your shoulder and look that good.  Julia.  Hun.  I miss you!!!  Where have you been all of my life?  Make another movie pwease.  Because you rock that carpet.  I wish the bodice was better proportioned though.
Best in Back to Black.
Jenni, yes you, I'm stealing your dress for prom.  Consider yourself warned, because I adore the high front.  Giuliannaaaa, I sincerely hope you get pregnant!  You will be one classy mommie.   All my best.
Best Shining in Chiffon.
Jules!  I wish you chose a different color, however,  you rock it.  So modern.  DIIIIIIIII.  I die.  I die for Di.  I die for her hair.  I die for her nails.  I die for her lips.  I die for her dress.  Rachel Zoe dies.  We all die.  Love love.

I can honestly say that this is the BEST red carpet outcome for any event in the longest time.  I salute you ladies!  You're golden.  'Nuff said.

Back to studying?  I guess so...
{Guess what?!  I ran today!  Granted it was for 20 minutes, but I did it!  I could barely breathe, but I kept on keepin' on!  Curse you altitude...  Oh, Kevin?  I'm sorry I didn't call you.  Thursday.  We conquer the altitude together}

I Love Lists

November 17, 2010
Things are great in Hollywood this week:
~ Carey Mulligan was cast as Daisy Buchanan in the film adaptation of The Great Gatsby with the iconic Leonardio Dicaprio as Jay Gatsby.
~ Gwenyth Paltrow's {only my favorite from her acting in Emma, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Shakespeare in Love} singing career has skyrocketed.  Loved her in Glee, as well as the acapella Teenage Dream.  P.S.  I love acapella, especially BYU's very own Vocal Point.
~ Prince William and Katie Middleton are officially engaged.
~ Rachel Zoe is preggurz!  I. Die.
~  Camilla Belle wore this.
Yeah, no wonder she's my girl crush.

Now to real life, my life:
In honor of the Harry Potter movie premieres, I am in fact reading the series!  Yes, I haven't until now.  Yes, this morning I checked out Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at the library.  And I love it.  Yes, Nate and I have Harry Potter Day planned for the 21st.  Yes, we know the real day has already passed.  Yes, The Making of Harry Potter was on the Bio Channel tonight.  Am I in wizardry heaven?  YES!  I even wrote our family letter with a hint of British wordage.  I'm doing my extended family a favor if you ask me.  Speaking of family letter {aka family updates}  I have alot of updating to do of my own.  I have also been having a lousy last couple of days.  Lousy entailing throwing up during 6th hour conditioning, feeling rather large again, wanting to throw a rock at something.  Like a brick wall.  Or Aunt Flo.  Today I could have possibly passed as bipolar.  My mood swings were off the charts.

Other Highlights:
~ Tanner being a real man by loving real woman and posting this article.
~ Finally finding my purrfect bedspread
~  Drawing last night
~ Not throwing up today

Goodnight my Muggles!  XOXO.
P.S. this lovely blog via this lovely blog is inspiring a fashion overhaul in me.

"A habit you wish you didn't have"
I don't particularly like this one because I have been trying really hard to be POSITIVE.  So for that reason, I will choose seeing the negative as my habit that I wish I didn't have.  Or procrastinating.

Today I spent twelve hours playing volleyball.  So fun, so intense, yet so exhausting!

This just may be my favorite dress in the entire world!  See those sleeves? Soo refreshing!  Everything about it is just perfection.  And i love me some kate hudson.
love, nat.

Gala Gaga

May 07, 2010
The looks at this years Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC were b-e-a-utiful.

SHAWTIES.
First we have Miss Blake's gorgeous Marchesa, short blue dress. I love the swirled ruffles, really, it's like a walking piece of modern art, not to mention her pumps are to die for.  She does the statement sleeve awesomely, not too big that it's just plain ugly and distracting, it's perfect.
Leonardo DiCaprio's model gf Bar Refaeli (first of all, who names their daughter Bar? Thank goodness she's a beauty) dress is gorgeous.  I love the bodice lines and cream bottom. mmm.

RUNNER UP.
Goes to my favorite person ever, Princess (in my eyes) Emma Watson! This custom made Burberry dress is AMAZING.  Magnificent.  I'm in love.  It's light, without compromising the elegence.  I love the cut of it, and how you can see the boning in the bodice, the sleeves, and excess fabric ruffled, the train.  The dress is just so complete.

HONORABLE MENTION.
Mila Kunis in beautiful and this Vera Wang dress is crazy pretty.  It doesn't look trashy, it's just made so well.  Like it is art. As simple as that.

FIRST PLACE!!!
Sienna Miller with her hunk of a husband Jude Law!  Emilio Pucci everybody.  Okay, first of all, beautiful navy blue, plunging neckline (which is a little too plunging for my taste) and high front bottom, and those shoes?  that train? the lace? Sigh.  Sometimes I wish I were rich and could afford a personal trainer, nutritionist, all the time in the day, and to borrow designer dresses.

i love this stuff.
