Dancing in the Moonlight

Saturday was great, here's why:

~I had an amazing run that morning in the cool, cloud covered weather

~Got ready easily

~Figured out my dress

~Did my hair (except it was being annoying so i took it out, maybe that's not a good thing)

~I freakin' mastered the smokey eye!

~Took pictures at the Orange Patch

~Had dinner at mi casa, which the desert was delish

~Somehow I got lasagna on my shoulder?!  But I got it off.

~Danced it uppppppp.

~Watched Just Friends for our night activity on Brynn's balcony.  "Forgivenesssss, is more than saying soorrryyyyy"

~Had so much fun!

Sunday I was sicky full force:

~Came home after sacrament and took the most amazing shower of my life, sorry if this is TMI.  But I really hope there are showers in heaven, because they are my favorite.

~Doug & Chantel came over for the Christmas Devotional.  Baby's about to be burnt in her oven!  Time to come out!

~Hung out with Todd, Tyler, and Erin.  And I was weird yet again.  Can't I learn how to control my emotions!?

Today, Monday:

~Didn't do my English homework again, if only I had it sixth hour it would be an entirely different story.

~Took a lovely nap

~Went bowling, which was surprisingly fun by myself.  Get in and get out.

~Went on a mini run

~Visited Todd and then Erin and Tyler came.  Woo!  P.S.  we have SO much in common.  Never known anyone to share my love for a specific maroon.  Forizzle.

Life in general:

~School is stressful right now, teachers are cramming, which means we are stressin'!

~I dance in my car wayyyy too much.  Like, I literally go crazy.  By myself.

~My face is freaking out.  First it was full of zits, and now it's peeling and charred, and then it decides to spring up cold sores all up on it.

~Oh did I mention I was sick?  Cause my sinuses are going crazy.

October Break Beginnings

October Break has been treating me well thus far:

~ Rocking my online math class!  So proud of myself.

~ Running!  Granted it was the treadmill, but at least it's something.

~ Figuring out housing for college & putting together at packing list.

~ Learning about my Germany, Austria, Switzerland trip in June!  Sooo excited!  231 days until departure.  In Munich, Germany I'm visiting the concentration camp Dachau, Residenz, Alte Pinakothek (incredible art museum), Deutsches Museum (largest Science & Technology museum in the world), BMW headquarters, 1972 Olympic Site (Olympics of Munich Massacre and when Mark Spitz won his 7 medals, 9 in career), Marienplatz & Hofbrauhaus among other places!  I'm extremely excited for Neuschwanstein Castle in Austria!  It's the castle Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty's castle are replicated after.  And so much much more!  Cologne Cathedral, Lucerene, Rhine Falls.  Ahh I cannot wait!  If only it wasn't packed into 10 days, I want to soak it all in!

~ Rustler's Roost for Doug's birthday!  That place has the most amazing view from South Mountain, I highly recommend it.  And their 9 layer chocolate cake is to die for (had to have some as my last meal before the wisdom teeth come out, going out with a bang).  We enjoyed conversation over the little cookie in the oven-- her name changes daily.  Brielle & call her Elle, Scarlett, Everlie...

~ Asking Jordan to Winter Formal.  He asked me to Homecoming after I'd already been asked, so I did the "fork-give me" thing accompanied with a pizza & the letters of my name on napkins.  My mom helped me since we went on the way home from the birthday dinner.  Now I am "anti-ring the doorbell and run" in these situations, and even more so since I was in a skirt.  However, my mom was convinced they were out of town so decided to do it herself!  Go mom.  Good thing he was only at basketball and "seriously about to hit up some pizza".

~ Night drive with Caleigh and Christy.  We had an impromptu photo shoot and talked about graduating early and all of it's excitement.  I'm going to miss them so much!  It's weird to think that everyone really will be going their separate ways starting now.  Thank goodness for Skype!

~  Tomorrow I loose my wisdom.  Also known as the dreaded wisdom teeth removal.  I'm preparing for the worst.  The absolute worst.  Pray for me.  Seriously I'm about to cry.

Loro Love

You know when you just have one of those GREAT weeks?  I feel like this is the week for me.  Here are some reasons why.

I've gotten back into running every single morning and i LOVE it.  I feel free, fresh, strong, athletic, hottt, soothed, relaxed; it is amazing.  One of the best things about it though is seeing the sunrise.  Smelling the canal and gasoline is up there too.  The reflection of the mountains in the water, mmm.  I just want to sing.  Horribly maybe, but sing nevertheless.  I mean it's hard, don't get me wrong, but getting out of bed is the hardest part.  Shin splints kill and when I'm tired, it's an entirely different story; but it is the ultimate way to wake up.  I mean i'm not an intense runner, just leisure, anyone could kick my butt for sure.  But it's liberating.

This morning I had the dentist = squeeky clean teeth-- my shiny teeth and me.

During ACT prep, Brandon was trying to set up Chandler and I.  Pure hilarity.

After school I delivered Christy her birthday jamba and we discussed life.  In this conversation, one thing made my arms literally fly in the air with my hands in rock position saying WOOOO!!  "Natalie, *blank* told me you're the best kisser hes ever kissed".  Cue Rock WOOO!!! Time. Best kisser frick yeah!  Do you know how good that makes a girl feel?  I mean still definite mixed messages adding on to the mixed messages I've been recieving this week but whatevs.  I rock dude.

Then we did yoga for mutual.  Yoga=happiness.

Today in accounting I (& Sam & someone else) recieved an application (I'd been reccommended for?) for this program.  It is 3 credits consisting of one class teaching marketing/business subjects such as sports and entertainment marketing, hospitality and destination, human relations, financial planning, and fundraising and event planning.  The other 2 credits count for the internship/job i will be practically GIVEN.  And not just a manual labor type 'making juice' job, like a hard core, real, business, working job.  On top of that, this program's going to Washington D.C. in November for leadership training.  Can you say amazing opp.?  This event planning and sports marketing stuff is exactly what I want to go into, or journalism, and I'm basically given a paying job--I can make bank. 

And I'm going to Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in June next summer. YESHHH.
