Morgan and I went to high school together where I knew her as the nicest girl with a secret artsy side. We ended up in the same stained glass class our Junior year. And even though we sat at different tables across the room, I would awkwardly find excuses to walk by her so I could see sneak a peek at the mosaic she was working on. And when I say mosaic, I really mean a masterpiece replica of the Girl with the Pearl Earring. Yeah. Only Morgan could do something so awesome and ambitious like that to blow everyone away. All of this to say, I was more than flattered when she asked (and trusted!) me to shoot her engagements.

We finally got together on a pretty (and a pretty windy) day in April. They were good about me forcing them to kiss and putting them in the same awkward poses over and over again. Thankfully Mckay was good at directing us and making us laugh to ease things up a bit. And at the end of the day, they were both just so happy. And so happy to be together. Knowing Morgan and her former stained glass career the most beautiful wedding is ahead of them! I'm 85% sure she's even making her own bridal bouquet.

To Morgan and Mckay! And a longer than necessary backstory! Hooray!

Fun Fact: there are 4 boys in Mckay's family
and 4 girls in Morgans. Coincidence? I think not.
